There is a new tournament series coming out this year. Backwater Outfitters is starting the Top Dawg Match Fishing Series, more details to follow, big $$, unique match fishing, be sure to stop in the booth at the Lexington Boat show or their store in lexington for all the details.

Some more detials on the Top Dawg Match fishing series, 1st Tournament is March 27 at Chimney Rock 7 am, 2nd Tournament is April 10, 3rd is May 22 and the finals are June 12. If you make the finals you will get your money back + some.... Payout over 20,000 if 128 boats enter.
Should be an interesting tournament for sure. First three rounds you only have to beat 1 boat to get to the next round, so if you beat three people you will money. Finals should have around 12-16 people.

Sounds like a good tourney. One question, $200.00/ boat @ 128 boats = $25,600.00. Where's the other $5600.00 going to? I don't mind fishing tourneys with 85-90%+ payback but only 78% payback? Just wondering before I make any decision on whether to fish. Otherwise I'm sure it's gonna be a great tourney. Word is they have around 100 entries now. Hope to see ya'll on the water soon.

I know one of the biggest expenses will be the scales. If you have any questions as to where the money is going I am sure John @ Backwater Outfitters would be happy to explain what the money is spent on.

This will be one of the biggest payouts in Kentucky all year, for sure the highest on Herrington, and the staff wants to put on a tournament to match.
