Sometimes vertical lines indicate electrical noise interference, but could also indicate LCR problems. LEI used to do a flat rate repair with a cost of something like $69, but I don't know if that old of a model justify's $69 + shipping. I'd just call em. 800-324-1356 to discuss options. The liquid crystal display is also subject to damage at extremely low temps (zero) which we haven't had much of this year. I used to always take them off and store in winter and install when I got to lake, once powered up they generate a bit of their own heat.
I still use a 65and the X75, because I got rid of my X-22..., but once these 20 year old units die, I'm going to something news. They can make the lower end units so darn cheap now (in China) its a shame.
thanks dave i will check into it, bubba when you taking your boat to b-town? me and onemore are trying to hook up on a day
When the weather breaks. He doesn't have a place to store it and you know me If it is not in the garage it is on the water. Don't want to leave her out in the cold to long by herself.
