I actually hate to see Miss State lose after the effort they poured out. Those boys should be in the Big Dance, no question. That is NOT an NIT team.

A doozy for sure. The leaning desperation 3 was great and all, but what about those two chances he had when KY REALLY needed the points. Short on that jumper from the free throw line and an airball that I guess was really just an assist. Didn't look good on either of those. They might need something like that in the tourney - hopefully for you guys he'll come thru when that time comes.

MissSt. passed the eye test but I guessed they at least got the percentages up to 50/50 on whether they get an at-large.

Brian you're not as gassed as Varnado was surely. Did you see that "(f)-another 5 minutes of running up and down the court" look on his face at the start of overtime?

My alma-mater scored 11 in the first half of their game yesterday. And alma mater is not some foreign player that's a whole team. Git-r-done.........

Prowler - I agree with you, Wall came up short on those two...and let's not forget about the horrid free throw blunders by Wall and Bledsoe in regulation when we really needed it.

Mistakes, for sure.

BUT, we seem to have that "Refuse to Lose" attitude sometimes...they just pull it off somehow. Entertaining, for sure.

They are saying that MSU will not make it in. They played a great game, and gave UK all we could handle. The deserve to dance.

Good win, but I did feel bad for State, those kids gave everything they had and then some.

Bledshoe and Wall missing the front end of a 1 and 1 back to back is something that really need s to stop. Free throws....free throws.....free throws......

Good game to watch for sure. I don't know that stats but free throws are a biggie down the stretch.
