Up date on port oliver ramp barren

Hey Guys and Gals I have a new e-mail today and this is what it said.

Tournament Contacts:
A recent assessment of construction schedules at Port Oliver Recreation Area has deemed the area closed to public access through September 30, 2010 for public safety considerations. Please prepare necessary arrangements for your events at other areas throughout the lake. Port Oliver Recreation Area is expected to open for public use on October 1, 2010 upon construction completion. The area will be the premier recreation area for tournament events complete with fixed restroom facilities, boat-in boardwalks, extended launching ramp lanes, adequate parking, weigh in shelter, picnic shelters and courtesy docks with complete ADA accessibility throughout the area. Please feel free to call the Visitor Information Office at Barren River Lake at (270) 646-2055 or reply to this e-mail message with any questions or concerns.

Thanks for the updates on this, sounds like it is going to be a nice area. I dont feel so bad about buying a parking pass now LOL. So we will be launching the winter cicuit out of there. Hopefully they will do this at the state on Rough.
