Quest Outdoors in Louisville has the best selection I have found in Louisville.

I wanted a particular Kayak and ordered from an outfitter in Indianapolis.

I understand Canoe Kentucky has a good variety of Kayaks. They are located on Elkhorn Creek. This is their website address: http://www.canoeky.com/. The good thing about Elkhorn if you are nearby is that you can try before you buy.

I have a Malibu Mini Fishing Kayak. I bought this because it was 9'3" and fits easily in the back of my Ranger and is light. If you don't mind putting it on top; a larger kayak may be better.

I love my Kayak and probably prefer fishing out of the Kayak at least as much as out of a nice boat.
