Can anyone verify if infact the launch fees all over Herrington are going from $5 to $10? If this is true, I say we all start asking for a receipt so they'll have to turn the money in to the IRS as income.

that or start going some place else, it's not that far to laurel, cumberland, and several small lakes in the area. it wouldn't take long, if every one stayed away for one season. just go to another lake for one summer. it would teach the greedy marine owners a lesson, where it hurts. and they would be glad to drop the launching fees to 0.00 any place that I launch my boat, if theirs a store close by. I'll spend a few dollars on bait, sometimes a hat, or soft drinks and food. but if they charge a launching fee, thats all they get from me. I fish cumberland sometimes, and conley bottoms charges a 5 dollar fee for launching your boat. so I stop at the little bass pro on rt 90 and buy what I need. then go to burnside state park and put in. for example, yesterday I went their fished for about 2 hours. stopped their bought 30.00 gas went inside and spent 38.00 and some change on bait. would have spent it with conley bottoms, but they charge a 5 dollar fee. so they lost my 70.00 because of a 5 dollar launching fee. I wonder if I'm the only one that thinks like this. and I don't know for sure, but I would think that tax payers dollars built the launching ramp that is their.
