    John Hay Lake

    Is anybody fishing John Hay in Salem? I'm planning on trying Friday.

    Went a few years ago in April and got into some great panfish.

    The lake is going to be raised sometime in the next 2 to 3 year up 6 foot higher. A new ramp and some otherthings to be added by the City of Salem

    That will make that lake a lot more fishable. At least the spots I have luck with anyway
