Try lake tarpon which is about an hour north of clearwater. It has some good bass.

Other than Seminole is there any other good bass fishing areas accessible by boat? We live in Indiana but own a place in Clearwater. I have fished the lake in our addition, and some salt water fishing. This time when I go down I am taking my skeeter. This coming winter I will probably spend the entire winter down there. So even if you're a non-boater and want to show a feller a few spots to fish, we can do that as well.
I don't know a lot of people down there. Most of my neighbors are full of themselves and I am just an ole redneck who likes to woop it up a little and fish. Most, or none of them fish at all.
Anyway, any areas to launch would be appreciated. A river would work as well. I know they're are no smallies down there, but I am a river rat by nature.
