Heading down there this weekend and would like to drag some shad around, are there any to be castnetted in the river? If not what does everyone do, bring them from the lake?

There's the million dollar question... you'd have better luck getting someone to tell you where the fish are then the bait.
I can tell you you can only legally throw a net in Crocus and 50 yards inside the mouth of Marribone in the KY section of the river. Both creeks have shad in them and love to eat nets.

I guess we are spoiled up here, there are shad everywhere on the Ohio river I netted 60 lbs the other day in about an hour...and I thought fishing was going to be the tough part
