    Post g-ville for first timer

headed down with a couple friends for first time and was wondering if any one could give a couple tips on what the fish r doing this time of year. Never been fishing on this lake, we are used to fishing deep lakes in kentucky so any tips would be appreciated.

Just got back from g-ville. We fished from Goose pond to Sebold creek. We fished the edges of the grass on the first break lines and humps. A depth finder with a Navionics map is highly recommended. Use texas rigged lizzard or worms on 1/8 oz weights or senkos. Anything green should work. Best of Luck.

Carolina rigs (big lizards) were also working a few weeks ago fished shallow around islands and shallow pockets.

My favorite way to fish G-Ville is with Senkos. Get over a shallow grass bed (3'-12'). I let mine fall to the bottom then slowly pull it up to the top of the grass and just let it rise and fall. They love it!

This will be my 4 trip in 5 years and the word on the lake is it's been on fire. I had couple friends of mine go down in the end of Feb and they caught some biggins 2 over 8lbs and 1 over 7 and several over 5. Another guy went last Tuesday the 8th and didn't do to bad had 1 over 7lbs and 2 over 5lbs and caught about 50 fish or so all on rattle baits
