A friend of mine who is just getting started recently bought this book and likes it a lot.
I think that I might be missing something but what book would you be refering too. I Have umpqua fly merchants. This has a lot of flys but i have been on youtube and seen many good flys tyed on there. But would like a better list and a newer one.

Books are good , But the net is better. Just search you tube on any fly that you are thinking about tying and several usually come up.
Orvis has a pretty good book that they sell at Bass Pro also !
The only problem is trying to figure which flies are for what. I have made some bangers, and some big clousers 2/0 3/0 size and some half and halves. and trying to tie some bunnies. Looking for anything 4-8 inchs in length. I have found a good web site that sells supplies and has pics with some recipes. Saltwaterflies.com

Yes right now!! But am looking for any big game fish the take a stab at here locally. Carp looks like it could be fun. I here that might try muskie at Green River but i'm thinking early spring next year right after ice out. Have you taken a shot at the stripers down on CL river?
