i fished cherokee 29 of april -1st of may,caught about 20 lmb,no big ones.
suspect they're on the nest.
what do you all think,are the bass nesting and the big ones gone deep?

I dont know I have ben catching a few small ones shallow but a few tournament guys I know said they're still catching them around rocky points with jerk baits and in the coves on spinner baits. I have turned my search back to rock fish and did great yesterday 11 in two hours all 8-24 pounds.

thanks for the responce and info, you really did well.
I plan to go back down shortly if the bite will last.
I'm keeping an eye on the weather and info.
