Are these a good choise for heavy duty trolling. Do they stand up to heavy pressure from hits by 30-40 pound fish?

I bought 2 of these units for my Raider. These things are bullet proof. The mount that bolts to the boat is solid. The post that mounts to the bottom of the triple rod holder rack has a 3/8 inch steel bolt in it, so I see no way this thing could ever break at that point. The rod holders themselves, lock firmly in place as you select a traverse angle, ad have aggressive teeth in the lock mechanism when adjusting rod holder angle.
This is a very solidly built item, and I'd recommend it to anyone who plans to do serius trolling for serious sized fish.
