    Kentucky Lake Resort Question

Taking the wife and little girl for a week coming up and was wondering what some opinions are on the best resort. Little girl is three and wife likes to shop (imagine that).

I think my wife likes Green Turtle Bay she says so that may be the destination. Any comments on this place?

We go to Moore's once or twice a year and really enjoy it. Leaving for there this Friday. They have a restaurant, marina, bait, and some really nice cabins. There is also a lodge if you dont want to spend the money on a cabin

I can tell you where NOT to go. We go to Irvin Cobb Resort on Blood River and Paradise Resort... both are great for fishermen, but thats about it...

Try Kentucky Beach... It looks awesome from teh water. (its right next to my favorite honey hole)

Moors Resort is great. My 3 y.o. girl and 4 y.o. boy love it there. They have mini golf course and a nice playground that they play on. The restaurant is good and the people there are helpful and have always been first class with us.

Green Turtle Bay is excellent for the family. Indoor and outdoor pools for the kids, twenty minutes to Paducah for the wife's shopping, Patti's restaurant in Grand Rivers, and easy access to Barkley, close to the canel if you choose Ky Lake. Been going there for 15 years and never disappointed.

You can't go wrong with green turtle bay if you are looking for something a little upper end.
