Fished Elkhorn this morning. Caught a few smallmouth none of any size. Wind was blowing so hard the creek was white capping and we had to paddle against the wind just to float downstream. Now that is intense.LOL

I fished Elkhorn Saturday. Me and my cousin fished 7 hours and did OK we caught around 45 with probably 15-20 over 12in and several in the 14-15in range. Bite was a little off believe it or not we found that some the fish were still on the beds. At least males were guarding beds. They could still be caught but it made fishing tough because you had to get right on the beds and the water was stained so you couldnt see them well and the beds seemed impossible to spot they werent any different in color so you had to see the fish. We only caught 2 that we know were on beds. Also lots of other fish seems post spawn and were really thin and lethargic.
