Fishing’s Excitement "Kentucky Afield" TV

FRANKFORT, Ky. – Hybrid striped bass, a paddlefish survey and how a fishing rod helps one top doctor keep a grip on tragedies, on “Kentucky Afield” television this weekend, June 12 and 13.
On the fishing front, host Tim Farmer acts on a tip to drop everything except his fishing gear and make tracks to western Kentucky. On the Cumberland River below Lake Barkley dam, hybrid striped bass are in the jumps and that means fun.
Meet Kentucky Department of Fish and Wildlife Resources’ Ohio River Fisheries Biologist Doug Henley as he studies one of the state’s monster fish – the paddlefish. Caviar, anyone?
Also on the show: A hard day at the office may mean Waco, the Oklahoma City bombing or Lexington’s Comair crash for Dr. Emily Craig. So where does Kentucky’s renowned forensic anthropologist go to try to relax her mind? Fishing.
