taking my father in law to cherokee lake tomorrow day. neither of us have fished it. what kind of fish can we get into and where?

walleye, crappie, bluegill, striped bass?

i was told that i may be able to catch some stripers on shad. is there a place to buy shad?

any info would be appreciated.
