are there any boat launch sites on the barren river? I heard that there was one in bowling green but the flood wiped it out. The one at the dam dosn't interest me, I want some place I can motor up and drift down.

This link will take you to the Barren River Ramps page on the KY Dept of Fish and Wildlife site. If it does not work just go to the fishing page of the KY Dept of F & W website and look under boating. This page is for the ramps around Bowling Green. I have looked at some of them outside of Bowling Green and so far have not been brave enough to park my truck at the small remote ramps for an extended period. You might want to view then before trying to use them yourself, especially after the flood. Good Luck.
