    Fall Fishing on Lake Guntersville????

I've been to Guntersville a few times but it's always been around the April-June time. What I'd like to know is what are conditions like on the lake in Late September-early October. What kind of patterns are going on?, How big is the grass?, etc..Please indicate if you've been fishing more than a couple of times during this time frame of the year. Thanks in advance for the replies.. Jfamily

I go every fall. The bass are doing nothing but chasing shad. We mostly throw swim baits. Spro or sebile in shad patterns will work very well. You'll see the shad busting everywhere in every cove just toss in the middle and hold on. Goosepond colony and the state park area are my two favorites.
