Pretty much like the title says, I'm tying up a gift assortment box for my favorite pub owner/neighbor. I'm looking for input on patterns for it. Nothing over size 6 even though deer hair is kinda my thing. I've got that covered. But I am looking for good and even some original patterns of yours I can make a go at imitating. I will trade secret pattern cards for this Maybe even a few flies for fun. Why not?
Warm water species or Cold water?

Both. the TU sticker on his truck is a dead give away, but you can't live in Kentucky and only FF cold water species. Can you? Any ideas at all? No Saltwater though, too big and he can ask me for specific flies if he wants any of that stuff. Thanks again in advance.
Pheasant Tail nymphs, size 12 and 14, maybe a few Zebra Midges, hell everyone loves the classic Adams and the Muddler. P.S. My ears are flattened into the side of my head.
What Colonel said....plus some clousers, BH wbs, bh hares ears, hoppers, wulffs, and the infamous Hedge Hog

You heard the man bro! Throw some Hedge Hogs in here, should still be plenty of dumbbells in the drawer, might have to paint em though . And tell Curtis I already miss free pool night, and you and the rest of the fam of course.
I sure will. I gave that fella from NKFF a few of my better deer hair pieces the other day when he turned my casting problem around. Kurt is definitely getting some good stuff. I've been ciphering on that hedgehog image for a while and I think I'm about ready to make some kind of facsimile of it. But, I've been perfecting that little rabbit pattern, you know the one where I bent the hook into the Carolina shape. It is a beauty. The action is just like a football jig, and I think all a have to do is make it longer to appeal to the larger fish (big Bass). But we're gonna wear some crappie out this spring with this beast!
Can't wait!
