I will be headed down to the state park for the first time to camp and fish for some bass. I really dont want to run and gun tring to find fish. looking at the map of the river I was just wondering is the north fork or south fork better for bass fishing.

Stopped bye State this weekend to camp for one night, and we rode thru the campground, and I was very suprised how bad the campground looked, I would not stay there, we left, and went to the campground by Tom and Al's, it was alot nicer, and cleaner, so if you have a choice, I would go by there first and check it out. You get to launch your boat for free when you stay at that campground also.
Great....did you mean the State Park campground? We tried to get into a couple of others (Nolin, Green River) for this weekend and they were all full.
We've never been to Rough yet and figured we would try it since they had a spot open.
Should we call that other campground instead?
Thanks to anyone who knows the area........
Yes, I meant the state campground, it was very dirty, and I just didnt get a good vibe from it, I could be all wrong, but there are others that are pretty good. I dont know the name, but the campground by Tom and Al's is very nice, with very nice showers and restrooms. I will try to find the name out and let you know.Great....did you mean the State Park campground? We tried to get into a couple of others (Nolin, Green River) for this weekend and they were all full.
