49 degree morning the FNF season....

will soon be upon us. Bring on the Alberta Clippers, get rid of the sun, how about some rain, sleet, snow and 30 degree temps. About time for me to break out the FNF rods from the cabinet and start polishing them up, string up some new leader, wash the snot rags, get out the ice picks and augers to get ready for some "Ice Fishing" as my 6 year old calls it.

Too bad there's not a "like" button on the forum like there is on Facebook.

    I would have pushed it.....twice!

I've got a question about the float N Fly. Instead of using a three way swivel wouldn't it be easier to use a bobber stop to set the depth of the fly?

The fly would be to light to pull your line to the stop.

If you let them sit all spring, summer and fall you will find some leftover "goodys" when you use them again. Nothing like a little Protein on the water

I am ready now. The snow and ice gods are wimps. Bring it on if you can. I got a huge bag of new Duck feather jigs to use and another rod to try out. Come on temps in the teens.
