Anyone have any reports for any species? taking kids, nieces nephew hope to have them catch something. Any hybrid/ panfish or catfish bite during day?

I fished it several hours on Wednesday. No bass. No hybrids. No catfish. No panfish. It gets to keep its title of "The Dead Sea."

Last week i caught 6 blue catfish drifting cut shad over the main river channel.The fish were in 30 40 ft of water suspended at about 14 ft.Just a couple of hours in the afternoon.
My brothers kept 13 crappie today,this am,fishing submerged horizontal cover.They said they caught that many more that were short.They got blown off the lake before noon.I saw the pics.

my brother and I went out this am and he caught about 20 shorties and a keeper & I almost goose-egged but pulled in a decent one during the "lets go", "ok just a few more casts" time lol

Have any of you gentlemen seen any top water activity involving the hybrids or the whites lately? I figured the jumps would be far and few between these days.

Have seen plenty of shad on top below Chowning, but only a few blow-ups on them. More carp jumping than anything else it seems. Water temp 76.

They should drain that mudhole and start over from scratch.
