    Floyds Fork????

Enjoy wading, but never fished floyds fork. Is it wade-able from the park near fishersville? Not looking for any spots just a place to somewhere close to work to get an afternoon wade in.

    Thumbs up Re: Floyds Fork????

It is wadable; especially now with no rain. There are several parks where you can put in and find spots to wade. I usually put in at Miles Park off Shelbyville Road. I am also familiar with Floyds Fork Park because that is where I take out if I canoe or kayak that stretch.

I don't think there is a spot >5' in the entire creek.

I quit wading it once I bought a kayak. But it is fun to wade if you just want to go for short time and short distance.

We've been planning on putting our canoe in at Miles and taking out at Floyd's Fork Park for a while, but I'm worried now that the water's so low. But let's say it's at its average level, how much of that stretch would two people in a canoe have to portage?
