Heading to LC with my son for the weekend and will be staying at Grider Hill. Would like to put my son on a striper. Where should I start looking for them? Not looking for secret spots just some high probabilty of catch areas. Thanks in advance.

Skeeter, fish are EVERYWHERE.... Now with that being said, I would think the BIGGER ones are still out on the main lake or close to the mouth of major creeks, such as Indian. With that being said, I have found them jumping in the UPPER end of the creeks, but infrequently, 24 inch fish. So, if I were you, I'll put out the planer boards about half way from GH to the mouth. GET OUT THERE EARLY, BEFORE THE SUN COMES UP) Most fish are caught with the first two hours. Set your rigging to fish a slot between 10 and 40 feet. Also, you might want to pulling free lines on the outside boards near the bank. (assume 3 boards on each side of the boat), then, 10 - 20 on the other boards. Watch your SONAR and adjust. Now, if you see fish in the JUMPS, suggest you have several rods rigged with blade baits and ready to cast into them, but be careful and approach them with stealth. I like throwing them a silver buddy.
