Now they're saying the first miner could be out tonight. What am amazing story that's been, huh? Hats off to this dude and his team!

It would be a blessing if all the miners were alright but I would hate to be the person treating them for the PTSD, nightmares, and hallucinations that are sure to follow. They are going to have health, breathing, and vision problems for a while. Families, in-laws, and distant relatives are already fighting while they wait for the rescue and they are certain to pull the miners into the mess. The hostilities are over such trivial matters as who gets money for telling their story to the reporters, who should have a place in front of TV cameras, distant relatives giving family interviews, and who will be first to have contact with their loved one. Only 3 or 4 relatives will be chosen to see each miner and that will be in a private place away from the crowds. I wouldn't be surprised if it turns into a riot if the families don't settle down.
