McAlpine Lock wall

Hey folks !

Does anyone know if it's legal to fish the inside lock wall ? The one on the Kentucky side so it's actually inside the lock .

My Dad told me they used to kill the jax salmon there in the 60's and 70's , he said they came up there before they moved over to the Hydro .

I know it could be off limits and kinda dangerous due to the barge traffic .I have the Lockmaster's number and I guess I could call them,but I wanted to pick everone's brain first

not sure about the ohio, but on the KY river at boonesboro its a nice 240 dollar fine.
