i was able to get on bigger fish today first heavy fish so far this fall, none over but real close. Using live bait in 65 degree water with lots of wind in 18-25 ft. of water my fish were scattered, mostly nondescript banks near 40 ft. or deeper. Always in sight of the main lake
I was able to catch several small bank fish while waiting on the live bait to produce throwing a drop shot worm. Good bite overall to
day

Nice smallies, hope to get into some like that in two weeks. It helps that I am fishing with a good partner that knows the lake as well as anybody.
