A gate failure Sunday night at the Starkey Pump Station, 147 Buchanan St. wasn’t discovered until Monday morning, said Brian Bingham, a senior MSD engineer. Sewage discharged for about 11 hours from an overflow point in the Ohio River near the Butchertown neighborhood.
MSD is telling people to avoid contact with any water in the river or downstream for 48 hours.
This happen earlier this year as well.
The way i see it is it is probably cheaper to dump it and pay the fine then to treet it..
Nothing like seeing a big turd or a one legged rat stuck to your line or float. I was wounering wht they open the gate up so much yesterday http://water.weather.gov/ahps2/hydro...lmk&gage=mlpk2
I guess they needed to flush the toliet
Look out for those bass turds

No problem.
I went uo to 12 mile island yesterday and dumped in 4 gallons of Drano. That should take care of the log jams.
