    Smile Bass pro baitcast reels

Anybody tried the new Pro Qualifier reel with the dual braking system(DBS)? I'm interested in finding out if it is a good feature or a "gimmick".
    Thanx.

Pretty decent system that uses centrifugal braking as well as magnetic braking.

Definitely not a gimmick......when dialed in properly it makes it nearly impossible to backlash. Hope this helps.

Thought I would help a fellow Danville resident.

I have 2 of them.............Yea, they are pretty GOOD.

I'm not too sure how durable they will be, but so far, they are PRETTY good.

    Later,

I like the qualifiers as well. Taking a real hard look at the Johnny Morris currently on sale for $159, with only a buck to ship(for the next 3 days!).
