I got this saturday morning. Opening of modern gun season in Indiana. It has 12 scorable points with the mass at the base as big a coke cans. It weighed in at 180#. Austin had him in his crosshairs but didn't feel comfortable with the shot.
He is at the taxidermist now. I can't wait to get him back.

Awesome buck! That's a little bit of mass!
Very nice!
when somebody says the bases are as big as pop cans, pop bottles, etc usually you kind of hesitate....DUDE you blew that out of the water! man what awesome mass! love it great buck! we all spend alot of time in the stand daydreaming about that kind of mass
I am curious what that measured?
great deer! agree awesome mass. congrats!!!
I haven't had it measured yet. It is at the taxidermist right now. I plan on getting it measured when I get it back. I have been told 160- 180 as a guess. I get it the mount back sometime in March is what I was told. As far the mass. Where I am holding it in the picture that is taken in the woods, my fingers just barely touch.
At 40 yards when I shot it, it never looked this big. I knew it was big, just not this big. I have a picture of Austin with it on my digital camera & it was all he could do to get its head halfway up & hold it for the picture. He got to shaking. He was more excited than I was though.

Jason that is a heck of a nice deer buddy. Holds the mass way out to. I love the pic with you and Austin..............
Great deer. I've never seen mass like that on a deer! Congratulations!
