mark i dont know for sure what he weighed all i know is i looked at one of those hoists that inserts into your receiver on your hitch and thought hmmmmm, that would make loading a deer easy. i should have bought it...he wore us out trying to load it. have you had any luck, i KNOW you are in big buck country.

Ended up with a decent 8 point that field dressed 190lb. Not what I set out for, but our rut came early and the big boys went Nocturnal on us. We had a heck of a time this year. I should have shot that 9 point I passed on Muzzleload weekend as it was a better deer than the one I got. Oh well, shoulda, coulda, woulda, the story of my life, lol.

Nice deer brother, that thing is a beast.

yeah me too kent, we used to have tobacco scales and we would weigh our deer and i was always amazed at how they always weighed less than what you thought they would weigh. my 15 yr old nephew killed a 9 pt opening morning that is as big as the one i killed. he took his to the taxidermist the other day and the taxidermist said he will have to order a very large form for the deer because of the neck. im jealous of him, his deer's rack is alot nicer than mine!!

My goodness that is a hefty looking deer. I would have loved to see what he would weigh. He looks like some of those thick bodied deer you see from up north.
