    reel selection

I wanted to say thanks to all months ago when I was shopping for a new reel. I went with the Shimano Curado and all I can say is wow! I cant say how impressed I am with this real, I saved up some money and went back and bought another one 5;3 reel for cranking. I can cast a DT18 and reel is in like a spiinerbait. Awesome reel and def worth the money!

    Re: reel selection

I've got three of the 7 to 1's and love them. I'm thinking about getting a couple of the 5 to 1's for cranking also. Interesting thing about these reels; they have both an anti-reverse bairing and the old style anti-reverse dog and gear. Not sure why?
