    Winter reading

As the weather closes in, and winter approaches, some of you may wish to continue fishing vicariously by reading about being out there on the water. Roger Stouffe and friends put online a very nice outdoor magazine with thoughtful pieces by anglers like ourselves. It's called farandawayonline.com. It's free and will offer some relief from the too-nasty-out-there-to-fish blues.

Thanks bookworm. That is a nice site. I read several of the stories but will save the rest for when the wind is blowing cold.

It's already blowing pretty cold out there. The site is always looking for new contributions, so anyone with a story to tell, think of writing it up, one of these winter days.

I remember this thread, but was thinking about it today. Did a search and found it. Thanks for the heads up bookworm, I am thinking of submitting some short stories, but haven't decided for sure.
