    50 lb paddlefish

    Snagged this big girl while catfishing this weekend. Best fight i've had in a while. She swam away fine.

    when we built the race track, at warsaw. their was a large pond, or small lake. that we pumped water from for controlling the dust on the job sight. and after about 5 months of pumping water from the little lake, it was dry and there were some huge paddle fish trashing around in the shollow water and mud. dipped them up with a excavator and loaded them in a puckup truck. didn't weigh them but they were huge. ps. we always called the paddle fish, { spoon bills }

    How do you think they got in there? I'm guessing no flood got em in there.
