The marine maps are few and far between but check out gpsfiledepot.com. They have some marine maps and lots of maps that will give you a good look of the lake at summer pool. Best of all most maps are free.

Does anyone know of a website that has lake topo maps that can be viewed online? I have visited a site before but can't find it again. Any help would really be appreciated.

However, if anyone knows a better site for marine maps please let me know!
Garmin has a try-before-you buy option on some of their products. You can't download, but you can view online from your computer. Here's the link to the US Inland Lakes DVD view map option tab.
https://buy.garmin.com/shop/shop.do?...ue#coverageTab
If the link doesn't work, just go to Garmin website, find and click on the DVD you're interested in, and then click on 'view map' tab. Double click the map and it will open up a new map window that you can navigate within.
Good "Lunk"!
Thanks alot. This is the exact site I was looking for. I asked KVD Sunday at the Cincy boat show if he used or was aware of these sites and he wasn't. He did give my buddy some great info on Lake of the Ozarks for a March Tournament. Thanks again

Google or Bing are free but good for imagery only, they don't show other details that make a difference when researching a tripWhy pay for google maps when there free? Just down load google earth

Go on the usgs website and look back for old topos of the area before lake was built. Granted some features may have smoothed or washed away but a good deal haven't.
Sorry - not trying to get in on every conversation here - just trying to be helpful. If you don't want to pay for a subscription to our site we still let you see a lot of free information to include nationwide USGS maps that often show contours from before lakes were built. Click on Maps - free features - then click the box next to Topo Maps and the USGS topo maps will show up. You might have to zoom out a bit to see the detail you want.
You can view lake maps with underwater contour and fish structure on this free fishing maps website.
