    Spinnerbaits and Buzzbaits

For all of you spinnerbait and buzzbait lovers out there, I just ordered 3 new buzzbaits and 5 new spinnerbaits from Red River Bait Co on line and they are awesome! They use a tunable titanium wire which is something new to me, but apparently it is much less likely to break after multiple catches (bent up wires), which tends to destroy traditional wire baits. I’ll report back after I actually get to use them, but they sure look good and the price is right. Good luck to you all!

Yes, you can bend it and tune it how you want it to be tuned. It isn't a snap back frame like the terminator lures. I asked them what the benefit was and they said that it gave more vibration than steel and titanium can be bent several more times than steel before it eventually weakens and breaks. I have to say that they look like great lures with very nice skirts, blades and paint jobs. They threw in a bluegill one for free because of some trouble I had ordering on their website and it looks fantastic.

Looking forward to hearing your report back. How's the quality of the hook?

Not a bad looking bait. What brand of hook does he use?

I never asked about the hook. I guess that was dumb of me. They feel sharp and look like a quality hook, but I am not certain of the brand. The Buzzbaits have red hooks. I got a chance th throw them both this weekend and they seem very nice. You can truly tune the bait. I love the Buzzbaits! The Thunder Buzz is a shorter wire more compact buzzbait and the blade hits the lead head, so you get a great sound. Being a shorter wire, yet still 3/8 oz bait, it seemed to cast more accurately and further than the typical buzz baits. I can't wait until the water warms because with the unique sound that this lure makes, I think it will be a home run!
