dicks has a rod that looks and feels very similar to the bass pro carbonlite rods, its a "Field and Stream" Spec Tech and i was a little skeptical at first. but i have a carbon lite and love it and these feel very similar. so i did some digging and read some reviews and had enough good feedback to pick up a couple. bout 59 a piece and next weekend i should have a chance to give them a workout. but they're very lite, well balanced, apparently sensitive, and supposedly a great rod for the money......... ill let you know more when i get to use them and compare them to my carbon lite this weekend.

I picked up a Berkley Amp at Dicks for $30. This rod is very sensitive, as a matter a fact I like it about as good as my Allstar rods. The eyes look a little cheap, but I paid $3 for a one year warranty.

Bass Pro had their "Bionic Blade" on clearance for $60. The might have some left. It a pretty good rod. Normal price was $80. This years model is differant style. Probably will be at that $80 price range or more.

Hey guy, I have a used Ugly Stick BWC1120 7-0 MH Casting rod
that is in good shape. I want to swap it out and get a white Ugly Stick rod for night fishing. Baspro sells them for $44.99. I'd let it go for $20 if you pick it up. (270)735-7814, in Etown KY if interested.

I use the b.p.s. Graphite series. They're the "old graphite 96" they had in the 80's. They're reg. Around $35. On sale, in the spring you can get them for around $25-$29. I've got 6, 7' med. Heavy, 2, 7 1/2' med heavy, and 2 spinning rods. I've used them for over 6 years, no problems at all.... Tr
