Guntersville 2/10-2/13

Broke away and went to G'ville with some friends fishing the BFL. had to drive through blizzard but arrived safely on thurs. air temps started at 17!!! boated only 2 on thurs with both about 2.5#. fri air temps started at 26 but bite got better -> boated 15 but all in the 2.5-3.5# range. BFL on saturday, so i hired a guide to learn the lake a little better. Fished with Capt. Mike Gerry of Fish Lake Guntersville Guide Service (www.fishlakeguntersvilleguideservice.com). Boated about 12 but none smaller than 3.5# with largest at 6#. Best 5 right at 20# (BFL won with 25#). Needless to say i was very impressed. Mike is a great guide with tons of knowledge of G'ville, but he is an even better guy to be in boat with. Highly recommended. Water temps in the 41-44 range. Enjoy photos.

Nice job. I believe I met Mike Gerry at the Jim Strader expo a few years back, but I might be thinking of someone else.
