My buddies and I went Saturday. We had fresh gizzard shad and frozen skipjack and only had a couple soft bites. We gave up on bait and started jigging Flitterbaits. Finally caught a few channel cats, drum, and quillback suckers. Man the channel cats were yellow looking. I'll post some pics in the pictures forum.
Scott......... Channel cats are known for being very lethargic and inactive during the winter months and tend to bunch up and lay on the bottom. This in turn will give them the yellow color and is common especially in the river systems. My buddies and I went Saturday.
