just a heads up to those who asked, The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society TEAM in training "Fishing for a Cure" has a tournament the same day, time, and ramp. THey have the same entry fee, take off and weigh in time. We will be using one set of scales for both tournaments. Both are for great causes, hope to see you there.
...Was looking into making it for the "fishing for a cure"....One scales for two tournament...finishing at the same time...weighing in at the same time...using one scale for both???..ought to just make it one large tournament..double the purse...and both split the money 50/50?
Considered having one tournament, but if "fishing for a cure" has 30 who want to fish and we only have 20, for example, do we still split it 50/50? Anyway, 2 good causes the same day.... why not fish both. And for those who have asked, yes your more than welcome to fish both. If we double the payout, we double the entry fee, some dont want to spend $200 to fish.
What were the results of the tournaments? Anyone fish them who knows water temps, color, etc. I'll be going to rough a few times this week. Thanks.
I fished in the fishing for a cure tournament. 16 and some change won the tournament I was in. We had 10.59 and finished 7th. 40 boats. I think we were only a pound from second place. Water temps varied from 65 (north branch) to 61 in panther creek. Most water is nicely stained. Also I'm pretty sure both tournaments were won by the same team.
Thanks for taking the time to respond.
