Wanting to go to Douglas lake in June. I have never been there. I am wanting to rent a cabin that is on the lake with electric hook-up so I dont have to load the boat out every night. Anybody have any suggestions on where is good?

There is a fair place at Inspiration Point in Muddy Creek. The cabins are small but clean. Do NOT stay at the cabins at Swanns. Stayed there last year with my Dad for a few days--NOT CLEAN. I will try to have a phone number for you in a day or two.

Also you need to check and see when the bass open tournament is being held in June. If you go the same time the lake will be jam packed and if your trying to fun fish it would get frustrating.

I was going to say the same thing the last B.A.S.S. Southern Open is on Douglas from 6/02-6/04. So those days the Lake will be nuts! As well as probably a week before too!
