Pretty slow earlier in the week, but improved Friday and got progressively better. Best 5 Saturday was just over 12 lbs, best 5 Sunday was 19.75 lbs. Not great sacks for the Big G, but we had a ball.

Danged crappie tried to pull me out of the boat, my partner had the net out and everything. That thing was a brute, absolutely loaded with eggs. Took it back to camp so my little sister could take some pics of her holding it for bragging purposes, then turned it loose.

The numbers of fish weren't huge, but with another week or 2 of good weather that lake will be on fire. Fished it last April, and it was as much fun as you can have with your britches on.

Right now I'm thinking hmm...stay employed and married...or haul axe back down there in 2 weeks? Tough call...depends on what the weather does.
