Just wanted to say my wife and I had a good time today at rough. Even though we didn't get to weigh in any fish. They are nice people that run the tournament and we can't wait to fish the next one. And my wife said next time though we are gonna weigh in a fish......

Thanks for coming out and fishing. The winning weight was 13.41 lb with big fish 5.51lb. John and Leslie run a good tourney and it is a fun division. Next tourney is at Barren on April 30th.

The entry fee for the tournament is $ 60.00. The membership fee I think is $25.00 per person. Once you join you can fish any USABassin tournament, and you can earn points to qualify for regionals and the classics. You can check out the website USABASSIN.com.

Just a suggestion, maybe you could move your trailer to the parking lot at Rough River State ramp. It seemed really congested.

    Re: USA bassin coed division

I wish they had a division for Louisville, on the Ohio River. My wife and I fished the regular series out of Cox's Park one year, but she wasn't too fond of being the only woman in the event.

We used to fish the ABA Couples division on KY/Barkley, but they moved all their tourneys to Sunday, and that made for an awful long ride home to Louisville after fishing all day. My wife tied for lady's big fish one day, and that's been the highlight of her fishing career! She still talks about that fish and how much fun it was.
