    New Guy in Newburgh

New to the area and new to the site. I am looking forward to getting settleed in down here and starting to fish. I have always fished smaller rivers and creeks so I feel like a newbie to fishing when thinking about fishing at Bluegrass or other local ponds/lakes. It's nice to see other local anglers on here.

Welcome to the neighborhood! I'm new to this site as well but reside in evansville. We have some decent fisheries within an hour or two drive!

You picked the right place. Over the last couple years this has turned into the SW Indiana board. Most people who post on here live in vanderburg and warrick cos it seems like.

Welcome Neighbor. I a Warrick County resident too.

If you have a boat you have access to a lot of water. From the Ohio River to KY lake or Patoka Lake or Rend Lake in IL. All are a short two hour drive from Evansville, IN

Good to see a few more guys from the South Western Part of the State.

Welcome aboard. As stated before there's several places to get your line wet.
I use Google Maps or Google Earth to find a body of water.

    Thanks Guys,

I have started scoping out a few area. It looks promising. I have one of the small 2 man plastic boats with a trolling motor on it. It looks ideal for a lot of the smaller lakes around here. I may need to pick up a small gas engine for it too though. I am looking forward to getting out but have a 3 week old at home so I am sure it's going to be limited this spring.

My neighbor?s house is for sale. We could use another fisherman on our street. Right now we have 3 but could always use another. We are on River Bluff Drive across from Newburgh Nursing Home.

I am just down the road from you Jay, I am on bell just a couple miles north of Wally world. I would like to get out and fish with somebody sometime but the new baby is keeping me pretty well on lock down for a little while longer.
