Panko breadcrumbs are da bomb! I know what some you guys are thinking, "Breadcrumbs are breadcrumbs," or, "I make my own, and those are the best." You gotta try the Panko's! They add a certain crunchiness that you just can't get anywhere else. It's hard to explain, just try them.
I tried some a few weeks ago. They were so good I bought two more boxes.

Yep Kroger has them. I been cooking with these bread crumbs for 20 years. My favorite way is taking shrimp and scallops....roll them in flour, place them in eggs(whisked) and get them soaked and them put them in panko bread crumbs. Fry until golden brown and munch!! The first few usually are dark cause the oil is so hot but as the temp gets level the color gets perfect.
