Are they still running a lot of water below Wolf Creek Dam? Anything biting below the dam? Thanks in advance.

mkspw, the link below is to the TVA website that will tell you the flow coming out of Wolf Creek Dam. Keep the following in mind while viewing the data:
a. The column "Reservoir Elevation (behind dam)*" is intended to maintain elevation 680-ft during the drawdown while they are working on the dam. Normally it's target is 40-ft higher or 720-ft elevation.
b. The column " Average Hourly Discharge* is the flow out of the dam in cubic feet per second (cfs). Right now it is over 27,000 which is roaring.
c. Above the chart also let's you know how many generators that plan to have open.
Check out the website before you go each time and you'll get the feel of what it is telling you. By the way, discharge of 2,040 cfs is borderline for me to use my boat (17-ft DeepV w/ 70hp) through the downstream rapids.
