What exactly are people referring to when they speak of button brush at kentucky lake?? I assume this is found at the back of bays. Will this stuff have blooms or leaves of any sort? Normally how deep is the water in and around this stuff on an average season?? Also anyone have an update on the yellow mustard flowers this year?? Thanks in advance
Buck Willows, button ball bushes. Most are in the backs of bays. Little stubby bushes.

Normal and average are tough. The outer edges might be three foot deep at summer pool. The most fun I ever had fishing the bushes was with a friend of mine and his dad and grandad in HS. We used "worm poles." Big fiberglass crappie type poles with about 50lb mono and a texas rigged worm. You just dipped the worms in around the bushes and hoisted the bass out of them when they hit.
My guess is that there will be none this year because the water is still high.
