Holy cow those are cheap. You would think for 1500 it would have a longer warranty than just 3 years.
Mother of God!....And I thought the Odessy's were expensive....seems to me that even if these batteries do last 15 years, thats $100 a year for the battery. You can buy a $100 battery and replace it every 2 years and come out ahead!!!
I think this is an emerging technology.......SOON, we might be able to purchase them just like a regular battery........
L-ion is the same type of battery used in your phone and in electric cars.
Have you ever seen the price of an electric car battery replacement.........something like 5000 bucks.........holy WOW.

I just don't see the benefit.I mean how can a $1500 battery be worth it even if it lasts 15 years? As long it cranks the motor and supplies the trolling motors all day. I don't see any benefit. I wonder if it can squeeze a few more pounds out of my 80lb thrust trolling motor? LOL!
I read somewhere that they were alot lighter than regular lead core batteries like 1/3 the weight.Still dont see the big advantage though, the boat may run faster? For the money I'll just stick with what I have unless I hit the lottery !

80 years from now we will be complaining about the high cost of that foreign lithiumion. It's all big lithiumion companies fault.I think this is an emerging technology.......SOON, we might be able to purchase them just like a regular battery........
