    Planning a Morning/Afternoon Trip 4/23, Where to?

Planning on going out this coming Saturday (4/23) and was wondering where to go? Will be my trip out this year.

We are out of Lexington and wanted to keep the dive reasonable.

    Thinking maybe Cedar, any suggestions?

From what everyone has been saying Cedar will have 100 boats on it. Everything is around 10-15 foot over summer pool right now. What about Green River lake? It has produced some very nice bags the past couple springs.

Green isn't one of my favorites, only fished it once last summer and struck out!

But I will look into Green, thanks.

I figured Cedar would be crowded.

This tournament has been re-scheduled due to the high water. I think it is May 21 but I'm not 100% on that date yet.

Bass fishing at the cave has been up and down so far with the rapid rise and fall this spring. It was starting to get pretty good prior to our last round of rain but I haven't been back down there since. Lake is 20 ft over pool right now and I expect them to start drawing water today. My guess is that everything from twin knobs toward the river is very stained to muddy right now.

Things are messed up with the rain for sure everything may be stabilized by the time you fish. I would try one of the smaller lakes I wanted to catch fish in a limited time. Maybe Elmer Davis or on of the small lakes in that area.
